This is the card that replaces the acoustic modem and allows direct modem connections on Teletype ASR Model 38 units. This is just the circuit board, working when removed from equipment. Mounts face-down and connects to main Teletype chassis via Molex plug (lower left in picture). I have heard that this modem is compatible with other models, but don't know that for a fact.
